News UN Special Rapporteur's Handbook on realising the rights to water and sanitation: SURVEY!

As UN Special Rapporteur on the human right to safe drinking water and sanitation, I am preparing a handbook to provide guidance on the key issues regarding the implementation of the human rights to water and sanitation.

During my past four years as Special Rapporteur, I have been focussing much of my work on the practical implications for realising these rights for governments, service providers, regulators, civil society and others. In the course of this work, I have received numerous requests for assistance on how these rights should be integrated into policies and practice. To ensure that this proposed handbook is relevant, I have prepared this survey to encourage responses from the various stakeholders to gauge interest and to request inputs on the issues that should be addressed in the handbook.

I would therefore be very grateful for ten minutes of your time in responding to this survey, and look forward to future engagement.

Please complete the survey, by 25 January, at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YGZZ5P8
