Event Water PPP conference MENA-Europe

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, The World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development are pleased to invite you to the upcoming international conference on water and sanitation Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) which will be held in Geneva at the Palais des Nations on 21 – 22 October 2014.

The objectives of the conference are to:

  • Explore challenges, bottlenecks, results and achievements in water and sanitation PPPs through the showcase of experiences in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa ,  with the aim to identify best practices;
  • Identify a roadmap for future work on water and sanitation PPPs in the regions;
  • Officially launch the international center on water and sanitation PPPs under the auspices of the UNECE,  with the establishment of the cluster of member states, private sector representatives, IFI’s and partner organizations (International Organizations, NGO’s, universities, think thanks).
