Journal of Flood Risk Management
Welcome to the first issue of Journal of Flood Risk Management, a new publication for 2008, published jointly with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and Wiley-Blackwell.
This exciting new journal aims to become the world's leading platform for knowledge sharing in flood risk management. We will be selecting the very best papers for publication and aim to achieve a balance between leading-edge research and the practical implementation of real projects.
Readers and authors come from a wide background and include hydrologists, meteorologists, geographers, geomorphologists, conservationists, civil engineers, social scientists, policy makers, insurers and practitioners.
