PROMOTE project newsletter last issue

The first PROMOTE newsletter outlined and explained the verification scheme worked out within PROMOTE (see issue 01 – September 2006). To further evaluate the applicability of the developed verification procedure and to gain first practical experiences with it, a ”roleplay” was established within the project. A real verification was run under reference site conditions at the “Research Facility for Subsurface Remediation” (VEGAS) in Stuttgart, Germany. The tasks of the institutions involved in the verification procedure were assigned to different project partners.
