Morocco : National debate on water to be launched in 29 November

A national debate on water will be officially launched on next 29 November by the Moroccan Prime Minister. Its objective: to bring a new lighting on the situation of the water resources and to accelerate the implementation of the reforms of the sector. It is also a question of engaging the process of cultural change and of responsibilisation of the actors, according to a representative of the ministry for the Regional planning. Extended over several months, the process will include on the one hand, a general debate at the level of the hydraulic basins, and on the other hand, technical workshops gathering the national and international experts.
