2nd UfM Stakeholder Conference on Sustainable Blue Economy | 19-20 February 2024 | Athens, Greece

The UfM EU and Jordan Co-Presidency, the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean, and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Island Policy of the Hellenic Republic have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 2nd UfM Stakeholder Conference on Sustainable Blue Economy. 

The Conference will be hosted by Greece and will take place in Athens on 19 and 20 February 2024.

Three years since the adoption of the landmark 2021 UfM Ministerial Declaration on Sustainable Blue Economy (SBE) and its Roadmap for implementation adopted in 2022, the Conference will aim at bringing together a diverse representation of the rich and dynamic stakeholders that make up the Mediterranean SBE community, as key drivers of concrete actions and scalable solutions across the region.

The Conference will serve as a key milestone to take stock of progress achieved, discuss joint challenges and transformative tools, and engage the whole Mediterranean SBE Community in setting the path towards further deliberations at political level.
