EU-DG for Research. The Ecoflood Guidelines on "How to use floodplains for flood risk reduction" have been printed. The main objective of the making of the guidelines is to promote the use of floodplains as natural defence measures, whil at the same time optimising other compatible functions and values through conservation and restoration.
