Water Information in LEBANON

The Euro-Mediterranean Information System on know-how in the Water sector – EMWIS - has 20 National Focal Points, 15 of which have launched a national water information service available on the web. An information seminar, aiming to raise awareness of the benefits of exchanging know-how and information among the main stakeholders of the Lebanese water sector, will be held on 10 November in Beirut. The seminar is the joint initiative of EMWIS and the Lebanese Ministry of energy and water. The event will also provide an opportunity to present the recent evolution of the water sector in Lebanon as well as MEDA regional programme projects for local water management in Lebanon.  For further information, please visit the EMWIS website.
