Sida & UfM Matchmaker II Project inauguration: integrated WEFE Nexus solutions to benefit 6 farms in Jordan and Palestine

Sweden, the Union for the Mediterranean and the Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean, on Monday, 8 May 2023, inaugurated integrated technical solutions for sustainable agriculture in Salt Governorate, Jordan. The Matchmaker II project solutions, implemented by GWP-Med, involve reuse of treated wastewater for irrigation, after its tertiary treatment through constructed wetlands, with pumping powered by renewable solar energy, for climate-resilient agriculture.
