LIFE 2014 water projects kick off meeting, November 2015 Portugal

The kick-off meeting water projects co-financed by LIFE 2014 programme took place on November 13th, 2015 at the Portuguese Environmental Agency in Amadora. 15 water LIFE-14 projects were presented in this meeting and grouped in two themes (wastewater treatment) and (Agriculture/food/ aquaculture/ water supply management). LIFE-ANADRY was represented by DAM (the project manager) and SEMIDE (the Dissemination manager) at this event. LIFE-ANADRY aims to demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility of the correct environmental management of sludge in medium to small sized Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTPs) via using an innovative dry anaerobic digestion treatment and to transfer the outcomes obtained to other European areas with similar problems. The demonstration site of this project a WWTP located in Mula, Murcia region, Spain.
