News New Regional Director Appointed for ROWA

IUCN ROWA has just announced the new appointment of a Regional Director, Mr Fadi Al-Shraideh. 

Fadi, a Jordanian national, has held the position of Regional Director ad-interim at the Regional Office for West Asia (ROWA), based in Amman, Jordan since July 2013. He has been and will continue to be responsible for leading the activities of the Union in West Asia.

Fadi has extensive experience as a manager in the non-profit sector working for International non-profit organizations interacting with government and civil society in the West Asia and North African Region.

Before joining IUCN, Fadi was the Country Coordinator for Care International in Jordan. At IUCN, Fadi has held several key roles in the Regional Office such as Regional Programme Coordinator, Programmes Development Manager and most recently the Regional Director ad-interim position.
