News EU project to hold consultation workshops on implementation of wastewater strategies in Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt

An EU-funded project is organising national consultation workshops in Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt to review and analyse the implementation of Wastewater Strategies and/or Action Plans in these countries. The one-day consultation workshops are organised by the 'Sustainable Water Integrated Management – Support Mechanism (SWIM‐SM)' project.

They take place on 5 March in Tunisia, 7 March in Morocco and 11 March in Egypt, and will be the opportunity for the programme to present, discuss and validate with relevant national stakeholders the findings of the assessments conducted by SWIM-SM for each of these countries on the status of development and implementation of their wastewater strategies and/or action plans. The workshops also aim to establish a national dialogue among high level officials from the relevant sectors to advance the strategy/policy/action plan formulation and implementation in the countries.
