Water Use and Customer Behaviour - A good practice manual and roadmap for household consumption forecasting
Water Companies have to ensure that their Supply of water at least matches Demand. Estimation of Demand is a difficult task. It includes grey areas such as "micro-component Modelling".
This latest UK Water Industry Research report provdes guidance on good practice for consumption forecasting, including changes from the approach used in previous analysis.
Produced in collaboration with the UK Environment Agency, this new manual improves the quality of the household consumption element of the base-case-demand-forecast in Water Resource Management Planning.
