Call for abstracts for the International Joint Conference CB-WR-MED / 2nd AOP’Tunisia Conference for Sustainable Water Management
This Joint Conference is organized by CB-WR-MEDProject and CERTE with the collaboration of partnersand stakeholders. This Conference provides a forumfor researchers and practitioners around theMediterranean on recent developments in the watertreatment, reuse and recycling for sustainable watermanagement (SWM) with a special focus on thecontribution of advanced oxidation process (AOP).
The conference is envisaged to include scientificcontent on latest developments in sustainable watermanagement research sector. Besides, Water Researchand EU-cooperation actors will meet policy makers,Contact Points and successful project coordinators.The event consists of plenary sessions, oral sessionsand poster presentations as well as technical visit.
CONFERENCE TOPICS:
• Water & Environment challenges;
• New approaches and tools for SWM;
• Advanced Oxidation Process (interface behavior, material development, mechanisms, process design);
• Water treatment and direct recycling in urban, rural, agricultural and industrial sectors;
• Examples of success research and/or projects;
• R&D and EC collaboration frame work for sustainable water and pollution management.
AGENDA and Deadlines:
Call for papers’’ : September 2012
Submission of extended abstract (2 pages) : November, 30- 2012
Notification of acceptation (oral or poster): December 2012
Submission of full paper (4 to 6 pages): February, 20-2013
Final acceptance and early registration : March, 20-2013
Registration, Opening ceremony and Reception : April 24, 2013 (16:00-18:00)
Conference (scientific sessions): April 25 – 26, 2013
Technical visit: April 27, 2013 (9:00-12:00)
Selected papers will be published after reviewing in “Desalination and Water Treatment“ Journal.
