New Publication on Water Demand Management in the Mediterranean

At the World Water Week (Stockholm, 2012), Plan Bleu and the Technical Committee (TEC) of GWP announced the publication of a new report entitled "Water Demand Management: the Mediterranean Experience", during an event organized on August 28, on GWP stand.

This report aimed to disseminate knowledge and experience of Water Demand Management in the Mediterranean, in particular for policymakers around the world.

A water crisis is a reality in many Mediterranean countries, threatening economic growth and livelihoods. This Technical Focus Paper provides a picture of the Mediterranean’s cooperation process and presents examples of implementing WDM in selected Mediterranean countries.
