JOUSSOUR publishes its first brochure

The brochure of JOUSSOUR, project funded under the call for standard projects, has just been published. 

JOUSSOUR’s aims at supporting the cooperation in the audiovisual and media sector through the production of TV and internet products in order to better inform the general public of the Mediterranean area about the cross-border environmental challenges. 

The first coordination meeting, held in Tunis on 14th October, gathered the members of the project technical committee, i.e. the three executive producers appointed by RAI (Italy), ASBU (Tunisia) and PBS (Malta) and the heads of project for ASBU and COPEAM. The representatives of the Programme Joint Technical Secretariat and the Tunisian Contact Point also took part in the meeting. 

The meeting allowed the participants to well understand the Programme global architecture and the respective engagements within the project in terms of management, communication and work methods to be adopted. The members of the technical committee established, among others, the activities schedule to be implemented during this start up phase. 

The next operational steps of JOUSSOUR are the executive producers’ meeting in Rome at the end of November, aimed at establishing the content and defining the themes of the 12 docu-mags to be co-produced, as well as the project launch press conference, to be organized in Tunis in the framework of ASBU General Assembly, on 16th December 2011.
