Twin2Go newsletter nr 4 - Synthesising research for adaptive water governance
Over more than two years the Twin2Go project has reviewed, consolidated, and synthesised research on integrated water resources management in basins around the world. Twin2Go has further promoted the sharing of research results with practitioners and high level decision makers through a series of successful policy dialogues.
This final newsletter provides policy relevant results around adaptive water governance in the context of climate change, which were drawn from an analytical analysis of collected data, and from a series of regional expert workshops, as well as the set of policy seminars. Additionally, the newsletter highlights lessons learned regarding the implementation and transferability of best practices to other basins.
Please also refer to our website – www.twin2go.eu – for further information and a number of relevant project publications.
We also welcome your contributions to the Twin2Go online database: along the existing 29 river basin case studies we invite you to add new case studies through a provided questionnaire, which was methodologically tested by the Twin2Go analysis. This growing pool of data will give project partners the opportunity to continue the comparative study started in Twin2Go. The database is accessible on the Twin2Go website and on www.watergovernance.uos.de.
