News Jordan: Eng. Musa Al Jamaani new Minister of Water and Irrigation

A Royal Decree was issued on Monday 24 October approving a new government led by Awn Khasawneh. Among the new Jordanian government:

  • Musa Al Jamaani: Minister of Water and Irrigation (who replaced Eng. Mohammad Najjar)
  • Yassin Al Khayyat: Minister of Environment
  • Ahmad Al Khattab: Minister of Agriculture
  • Ruwaida Maayteh: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research
  • Basem Rousan: Minister of Information and Communications Technology
  • Jafaar Hassan: Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
  • Yahia Kasabi: Minister of Public Works and Housing
  • Abdul Latif Wreikat: Minister of Health

Eng. Mousa Al-Jamaani
has been Jordan Valley Authority Secretary General. Holds a Master Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on planning and managing water sources from Colorado University in 1989. He held the position of Acting Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General at Jordan Valley Authority. He is member of various boards of directors.
