The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM): New President nominated

CIWEM has just announced that David Wilkes has taken over from Gerard Morris as CIWEM President 2011-2012.

David Wilkes is a graduate of the University of Durham where he studied Engineering Sciences with Management. Outside of working hours he enjoys the outdoors, cycling, skiing and sailing, when opportunity permits. He has helped establish a Duke of Edinburgh Awards division within the local scout group and supported 25 Gold, 70 Silver and over 100 Bronze award recipients.

David Wilkes officially became President on 29^th September at CIWEM AGM, held on the HQS Wellington, moored on the Thames at Temple Stairs in London.
