Report on the 5th meeting of the Intergroup Water, 30 June 2010: "Water and Agriculture: a common future"

On behalf of MEP Dr. Seeber, president of the EP intergroup water, I am pleased to inform you that the report on the June 2010 meeting of the EP intergroup Water on “Water and Agriculture: a common future” can be downloaded from the website of the Intergroup Water.
  Key note speaker were:

• Mr. BULHAO MARTINS, Vice President of the Portuguese Farmers Confederation and Vice-Chairman of the COPACOGECA Working Party on Environment,
• Mr. DOORNBOS, Chairman of Rijnland Water Authority (NL) and chair of the EUREAU Task Force on Water and Agriculture.

 The next meeting of the EP Intergroup water will take place on 27 October 2010 with as key note speaker Commissioner Hedegaard for Climate Action.
