EC recommends €2 billion for external EIB climate actions

The European Commission is proposing to make available an extra €2 billion of loans available to help other countries combat climate change. The proposal comes in the Commission's review of the external lending mandate until 2013 of the EU's funding arm, the European Investment Bank (EIB).
