Senior Fundraising Coordinator, Water Integrity Network, Germany [deadline 30 Oct]

The Water Integrity Network Secretariat hosted by Transparency International in Berlin is looking for a highly motivated professional for the position of Senior Fundraising Coordinator for country based water integrity action programmes and projects.

The Water Integrity Network (WIN) is an action oriented coalition of individuals and organizations that are able and willing to support the cause of increasing Water Integrity benefiting poor people in helping to prevent or reduce corruption in IWRM, Drinking water and sanitation, water for food and water for energy.

Job Description

Main function: Fundraising for country based WI action programmes and projects
Reporting lines: Reports to WIN Manager
Contract: one year contract, with possibility of extension
Starting date: ASAP
Location: Berlin, Germany
Salary: between € 3000 and € 4500 (gross) per month depending on profile and experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Fundraising research and communications focusing on establishing funding mechanisms and modalities for small projects (follow-up small grants pilot programme) as well as larger country based action programmes.
• Facilitate creation of a water integrity fund for country based action
• Support country based action programme proposal development

The position involves international travel in the order of two to three months per year.

Requirements include:

• Fluent in several languages including English and two of the following languages: Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian or Mandarin
• Good working knowledge of contract administration, including tendering and procurement procedures.
• At least three full years of relevant work experience, including at least one full year in a developing country;
• Master's degree in relevant field required, preference given to studies related to the water sector (or specific sub-sectors).
