News Award of the certificate of Diplomat, Water Resources Engineer (D WRE) to Dr. Fadi Georges Comair, General Director of Hydraulic and Electrical Resources at the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water

At the 2009 EWRI World Water and Environmental Resources Congress in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, The American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) held a special 5th anniversary Diplomate Introduction Ceremony and Reception for Diplomats on Monday evening, May 18, 2009. In this occasion the president of AAWRE Daniel W .BOY handed to Dr. Fadi Georges Comair, General Director of Hydraulic and Electrical Resources at the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water the distinction and designation of Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D WRE). Dr. Comair is the first non American citizen who receives this award.


The Trustees of The American Academy of Water Resources Engineers, under the authority vested in them by the Civil Engineering Certification Inc., confirmed that Dr. Fadi Georges Comair has given outstanding evidence of professional qualifications in accordance with the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers ByLaws and handed him the certificate of special knowledge, authorizing him to use the title of Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer. This distinction was granted to Dr. Fadi Comair on the basis of specialized knowledge and qualifications in Water Resources, strong professional ethics and a commitment to life-long learning and continuing professional development. In particular this award is based on his excellent engagement at the National and International level.
