New release of INSPIRE web site

The INSPIRE team is pleased to announce the release of our new INSPIRE website, which can be accessed at: http://inspire.jrc.ec.europa.eu/. The new INSPIRE site has been designed with a fresh new look and has been updated with the most recent information. It includes the prototype INSPIRE geoportal and allows for discovery and viewing of spatial data sets and services. It's aim is to identify issues related to its implementation and accessing distributed INSPIRE services, to help towards the development of the operational geoportal. This geoportal illustrate the discussions held at the EMWIS workshop on metadata management in the Mediterranean, last June, in Nice (France) and the launch of a prototype geo-catalogue on mediterranean water information sources.
