Jordan: The EIB supports USD 100 million for a water pipeline from Disi to Amman
The EIB signed yesterday in Amman a loan of 100 million USD in support
of a water pipeline which will bring 100 million m3 of water a year
from Disi in the south of the country to Amman.
This project will help address water scarcity in Jordan.
The loan was signed by EIB Vice-President Philippe de Fontaine Vive in the presence of King Abdallah II.
