QUALIFICATIONS |
Education Advanced university degree in zoology, biology, ecology, and or a related scientific field to terrestrial or marine conservation or a first university degree with a relevant combination of professional and academic qualifications. |
Work Experience At least seven (7) years working experience in the field of biodiversity conservation with a national and/or international institution(s) are needed to successfully carry out the duties required. |
Languages English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the advertised post, fluency in oral and written English is required. A good working knowledge of either French or Spanish is desirable. |
Other Skills Knowledge of software and other applications e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, internet. |
