News Launch of STRIVER Series of Policy and Technical Briefs on IWRM

STRIVER project has just launched the STRIVER Series of Policy and Technical Briefs on IWRM. The intention is to
communicate the results from the project in an easy non-technical fashion with a clear management and policy impact message. The two series summarize results from the project so far, and are aimed at an applied research
audience, water managers, decision takers and policy makers. 11 Policy Briefs and 6 Technical Briefs are part in this first launch (see http://www.striver.no/diss_res_009.php).

STRIVER- Strategy and methodology for improved IWRM - An integrated interdisciplinary assessment in four twinning river basins is a three year EC funded project 2006-2009 under the 6th framework programme (FP6)
coordinated by NIVA and Bioforsk (both in Norway) with 13 partner institutes from nine countries. The case study basins are: Glomma (Norway), Tagus (Spain/Portugal), Tungabhadra (India) and Sesan (Vietnam/Cambodia).
