Global Water Partnership is seeking a Web Communications & IT Officer

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) is a worldwide network which has for over a decade successfully been supporting countries in their efforts to implement more equitable and sustainable management of their water resources. During this period, GWP focus has gradually expanded from global to regional, national and sub-national level. SCOPE OF THIS POSITION
The position serves the entire GWP network by developing and overseeing the organisation's web presence to ensure that web technology enhances the GWP mission and serves the GWP Secretariat by planning and implementing the use of information technology to improve efficiency and productivity. Based in the Communications group, the incumbent is expected to have both strong technical capacity and interpersonal communication skills, and works in close collaboration with all staff of the GWP secretariat.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the position encompasses the following main duties:

1.       Webmaster for GWP websites
2.       Manage the IT needs of GWP with the Application Service Provider (ASP)
3.       Coordinate the electronic document handling system
