Job description:
The post holder will be located in the secretariat of Freshwater Action Network (FAN) working directly with partners, as part of a small dynamic team, on a range of global and regional advocacy, learning and organisational development programmes, but most specifically supporting the Governance and Transparency Fund (GTF) programme of work with 14 NGO partners in Africa, Central America and South Asia working on a range of initiatives aimed at improving the accountability and responsiveness of governments and service providers in the water and sanitation sectors, through evidence based dialogue and influencing.
Requirements include:
- Solid experience in policy research and/or advocacy in international development , working with Southern partners, and on multiple projects at various levels
- A good quality first degree graduate in a relevant subject
- At least 2 years experience of remote management and cross-cultural working with local NGO partners, preferably with a capacity building dimension
