Communications Director at the Stockholm International Water Institute, Sweden - Application deadline: 15 May 2008

SIWI is looking for an experienced Communications Director skilled in the traditions of communications and marketing but desiring an opportunity to affect real change through advocacy, awareness building and leadership of a dynamic and creative internal communications team. We seek someone who will harness the power of SIWI’s expertise and knowledge in order to influence political decision makers, business leaders, researchers and scientists, and other opinion leaders.

Requirements include:
A bachelors degree in journalism, marketing or public relations; a graduate degree in a related field is desirable. At least ten years of relevant professional experience, at least five of which should be in advocacy communications or organising campaigns with a strong media component.
