Palm Water awards contract for STP
Dubai's Palm Water, a company owned by Dubai World's investment arm
Istithmar, in association with the corporate financing arm of Macquarie
Bank, has awarded a cornerstone contract to Degremont /Besix Consortium, for
the design and construction of an MBR sewage treatment plant of 220,000
cubic metres a day capacity. The Jumeirah Golf Estates sewerage treatment
plant (STP) will be the largest sewage treatment plant using MBR technology.
