LIFE+ calls set for autumn 2007
The conciliation procedure between the Council and the European Parliament to finalise the LIFE+ Regulation will begin at the start of 2007. The Regulation, which will cover the period 2007-2013, is expected to be adopted by September 2007.
The first calls for proposals should be launched before the end of 2007, probably in the autumn. As long as the conciliation procedure is not concluded, the details of these calls are uncertain. However, the subjects covered will include nature, biodiversity and other environmental issues. More details will be made available as soon as possible. In the meantime, potential applicants are advised to begin preparing their proposals.
