News New publication: Fluoride in Drinking-water

Millions are exposed to excessive amounts of fluoride through drinking water contaminated from natural geological sources, and may suffer conditions ranging from mild dental fluorosis to crippling skeletal fluorosis. The World Health Organization's (WHO) Fluoride in Drinking-water provides guidance on this neglected issue, by providing the latest scientific evidence on the occurrence of fluoride, its health effects, ways of reducing excess levels, and methods for its analysis.
