Budapest Watershed conference
A Watershed & Riverbasin Conference is under preparation in Hungary
under the auspices of the International Water Association (IWA). The event
will be held in Budapest 4-5 September, 2008, focusing on river basin
management practices in different countries of the world. Topics include
(not exhaustively):
- Hierarchal approaches to river basin management.
- Advanced computation and decision support;
- The impact of climate change
- Flood control and prevention.
- Effective methods to involve stakeholders
- Conflicts and multi-objective management
