SWAP2007 - European Symposium on Waterborne Pathogens in Surface and Drinking Waters

The European Symposium on Waterborne Pathogens in Surface and Drinking Waters will be held in Luxembourg in 19-20 April 2007. This symposium proposes to:
- Communicate the major results of relevant research projects in order to get a picture of the state of the art concerning pathogens in drinking and recreational waters;
- Highlight the emerging issues concerning waterborne pathogens;
- Formulate the research needs from the regulation and industrial points of view;
- Establish vivid links between the research, regulation and industry sectors.
Eight invited presentations are already scheduled. These includes presentations of major ongoing or recently finished EU-funded projects as well as a presentation on the regulatory aspects of drinking water management. Beside these presentation, there will be place for you to present orally or as a poster your research topics. Submission of abstracts: March 1st, 2007.
