Technical Project Preparation Workshop for Transformational Climate Resilience GCF Water Project Concepts in the Mediterranean

Scheduled for 10-12 June 2019, in Brussels, organized back-to-back with the 10th WEG Meeting. The Workshop objectives respond to country needs and expressed demand for support to strengthen capacity of GCF National Designated Authorities (NDAs), current and potential GCF Direct Accredited Entities (DAEs), and Water Ministries/Agencies to programme and prepare high quality climate resilient water projects that meet GCF requirements. 

The Technical Project Preparation Workshop is organized by the Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean (GWP-Med) and the Union for the Mediterranean, with the support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the European Commission. The organization of the Workshop was suggested and encouraged at WEG 9 Meeting (Nov 2018, Athens).
