SmArt water management with Integrated Decision support System (SAID) Workshop

WHAT:

SAID has developed and demonstrated innovative solutions for smart management of complex river basins taking into consideration historical situations and management decisions taken, meteorological forecasts and real-time monitoring. SAID tools provide in particular:

• Real time observation of water quality in water bodies
• Optimization of dam operation for hydropower production, flood risk reduction and water quality
• Flood risk simulation

Thanks to its simulation feature, SAID tools can also be used for training new infrastructure operators.

SAID solutions have fully been tested and validated on Guadalhorce river basin (near Malaga Spain).
