Event The Water in the Arab World conference: Status; Challenges and Opportunities

The Water, Energy and Environment Center of the University of Jordan and the Arab Universities Association in cooperation with the Ministry of Water and Irrigation are organizing the Water in the Arab World conference: Status; Challenges and Opportunities.

The conference will be held in Amman between Feb. 25 and 27, 2014. The conference is an opportunity for water experts and professionals from the Arab World and worldwide to convene and meet to disscuss water related issues in the Arab wolrd.

The deadline for submitting abstracts to the conference ended in Aug. 15th 2013. However, if you have not submitted an abstract and plan to participate in the conference, you can submit the full paper by or before October 1st 2013.

To encourage students to attend, registration fee for students is reduced to $ 150. For others registration fee is $ 400. Regisration fee includes coffee breaks, lunches, book of abstracts, CD of abstracts, conference bag and stationary.

After the conference two field trips will be arranged to two historical sites: Petra and the Dead Sea. The conference infromation can be found at the conference web site below and in the attached brouchure as well.
