30^ème Anniversaire de l’Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau (Marseille, France – Février 2013)

à 1982 : Création de l’Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau (IME)

à 2002 : 20^ème Anniversaire de l’Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau (IME)

à 2012 : 30^ème Anniversaire de l’Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau (IME)

Trois dates clés dans la vie de l’IME qui, tout au long de ces trente années, a œuvré pour la coopération et l’échange de savoir faire dans le domaine de l’eau en Méditerranée.

A travers ses membres réunissant les instances de décisions (Ministères, Autorités locales et territoriales), de gestionnaires et d’opérateurs (privés et publics) et des experts du domaine de l’eau, l’IME a entrepris des activités tant sur les volets hydraulique, géoclimatique, environnemental que géopolitique.

En intervenant sur le plan régional, l’IME a coordonné, lors des grandes manifestations, la mobilisation des acteurs de la communauté méditerranéenne de l’eau.

Dans ce cadre, l’IME était présent au 6^ème Forum Mondial de l’Eau organisé à Marseille (France) en 2012.

A l’occasion de son 30^ème Anniversaire, l’IME organise en Février 2013 à Marseille (France), un séminaire régional sur le thème EAU ET ENERGIE EN MEDITERRANEE.

These three dates are keys in the life of IME which, throughout the last thirty years, has worked to enhance cooperation and exchange of knowhow on water issues in the Mediterranean.

Through its members which bring together decision making bodies (Ministries and Local Authorities), water managers and utilities (private and public) and water experts, IME has undertaken activities focused on water-related, geo-climate, environmental and geo-political issues.

Acting on the regional level, IME has mobilized and coordinated the participation of the stakeholders in the Mediterranean water community in major events.

Within this framework, IME was active during the 6^th World Water Forum organized in Marseille (France) in March 2012.

On the occasion of its 30^th Anniversary, IME is organizing in February 2013 in Marseille a regional seminar on the issue of WATER AND ENERGY IN THE MEDITERRANEAN.
