Event Workshop on Water and Climate Change in the Agriculture Sector

The main objective of this workshop is to exchange practical information about predicted impacts of climate change in water management, focused in the agriculture sector, and provide examples on adaptation, considering the different regional scenarios across Europe. The output of the workshop will be a briefing document to help guide future policy and research agendas on water, agriculture and climate change. The workshop will also provide useful inputs to support the CIS Guidance Document on Climate Change and Water and to the 2012 Blueprint to Safeguard Europe’s Waters, continuing the drive to ensure that future River Basin Management Plans are climate resilient.
