Event 6th World Water Forum Invitation - Events at the World Water Week in Stockholm, August 2011

The International Forum Committee is pleased to invite you to :

  • ­ The 6th World Water Forum Solutions' Fair – on Sunday August 21 

Time: 14:00 - 17:30 - Room T 6 – Location: Stockholmsmässan conference center, Älvsjö.

Come and contribute to the identification of solutions on the road to the 6th World Water Forum. This Solutions Fair will be the opportunity for you to propose and discuss your solutions - may they be technical, political, legal, education-related or financial – in relations with the priorities and targets listed by the international water community to address global water challenges.

You will meet the 6th World Water Forum’s working groups and will suggest your solutions at roundtables dedicated to each Priority for Action (Access and Right to water, Green Growth, Water Footprint,…), Condition for Success (Financing Water for all,…), and regions.

 

  • ­ World Water Forum, from Istanbul to Marseilles: Mobilising Decision-makers – Conference on Wednesday August 24

Time: 17:45 - 18:45 - Room T 4 – Location: Stockholmsmässan conference center, Älvsjö.

One of the pillars of the 6th World Water Forum is the mobilisation of ministers, parliamentarians and local and regional authorities. This session aims to highlight the capacity for catalyzing decision-makers within the Political Process through the implementation of the Istanbul Water Consensus, the Parliamentarian Helpdesk and the Ministerial Declaration, which all pave the way to Marseille 2012 and beyond.

Time: 12:45 - 13:45 - Room K 11 – Location: Stockholmsmässan conference center, Älvsjö.

Get the latest update on the 6th World Water Forum! This side event will offer the opportunity to:
> Interact with representatives of the different preparation committees.
> Identify how you can contribute to the Forum of Solutions, the 6th World Water Forum with your solutions.
