“Water Science meets Policy” Event
As previously announced DG Research and the French Agency ONEMA co-leading the activity on Science-Policy Interface will organise a Seminar on the 30th of September in Brussels about the research needs linked to the WFD. In particular, we would like to encourage the CIS Working Group leads to participate and actively contribute to this event.
This event, organised in the context of the Science Policy Interface activity (SPI) supported by the European Water Directors, aims at supporting the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) through connecting scientists and WFD end-users in order to identify research needs and improve mechanisms for disseminating research outcomes. This event is the first of a series of 3 annual SPI events of this type to be organised in the period 2010-2012.
