Event Giving Voice to the ‘Silent Partner’: The Environment and its Role in Multi-stakeholder Partnerships that Deliver Water and Sanitation Services

Environmental considerations are usually not well represented directly within wat-san delivery partnerships. This event reviews the role of the environment as the ‘silent partner’ in partnership negotiations. Presenting findings from BPD -IDRC’s research in Latin America, this interactive session will debate how water quantity and quality issues impact on how partnerships are structured in developing countries.
