The seminar is organised by the University of Surrey School of Law based Environmental Regulatory Research Group in the framework of its programme on "The Environmental Protection of the Guarani Aquifer System: A Legal Perspective" http://www2.surrey.ac.uk/errg/projects/acquifer/. Both the project and the seminar contribute to the UNESCO ISARM (Internationally Shared Aquifer Resource Management) Programme http://www.isarm.net/. At the seminar the Surrey Centre for the Regulation of Transboundary Aquifers will be officially launched.
