IDA-GWI conference: "Global Water Summit 2010: Transforming the World of Water"
The annual conference held jointly by the International Desalination
Association and Global Water Intelligence is to be held next year in
Paris on 26-27 April 2010.
Next year's event is titled "Global Water Summit 2010: Transforming the World of Water".
The conference will focus on practical solutions and provide a
view of where money should be invested over the next decade. It will
take an in-depth look at the water and energy nexus and hear from
groundbreaking utilities about how they have transformed the way that
they operate.
GWI's Global Water Awards will take place on the evening of
26 April with the key note speech at the awards dinner coming from
Queen Noor of Jordan, who will be telling the story of water in Jordan
and linking it to wider issues in the Middle East and beyond. Queen
Noor is well known as a humanitarian, activist and outspoken voice on
issues of global peace-building, nuclear non-proliferation and
cross-cultural understanding.
