Tunisia: Research, development and innovation, keys for a sustainable development in the Mediterranean

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Republic of Tunisia are joining forces to organise the 7th FEMIP Conference on Research, Development and Innovation in the Mediterranean. This high-level event, honoured by the presence of the Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi, will take place on 15 March 2010 in Tunis.

The Conference will bring together government officials, researchers as well as representatives of the private sector and international financing institutions and will provide a forum to exchange views on the following topics:
✓ The institutional framework governing the development of R&D and innovation
✓ Business Strategies for the development of R&D and innovation
✓ The role of networks in the consolidation of an innovative Mediterranean economy
✓ Supporting tools and funding for innovative companies.
