Event Water Week 2009: "Tackling Global Water Challenges"

Water Week will take place at the World Bank headquarters in Washington DC from February 17-20, 2009. The event is organized by the Water Anchor, in partnership with the Water Sector Board, and will take place in the Main Complex, World Bank, Washington, D.C.

This year's Water Week will be an event bringing together the whole water community, including external participants (by invitation only). It is titled "Tackling Global Water Challenges", and the discussions will focus on the urgent challenges currently faced by the water community including inter alia:adapting to climate change, responding to the food crisis, keeping the momentum for the MDGs, and dealing with the potential impact of the global economic crisis.

The Water Week will provide a unique opportunity to address these many water challenges by exchanging experiences and discussing how the World Bank can better serve our client governments by helping them find viable solutions.

Attendance to the Water Week 2009 is by invitation only for external participants. All invited participants need to register through the link below.
