MWWD 2008 - 5th International Conference on Marine Waste Water Discharges and Coastal Environment

MWWD 2008 will take place in Croatia, in the Dubrovacko-Neretvanska Zupanija (Dubrovnik-Neretva County). MWWD conferences serve an important role in bringing together engineers, scientists, planners and decision makers that are concerned with the numerous issues surrounding a given outfall installation, from oceanographic and biological baseline studies, to environmental and water quality impact predictions, to hydraulic and geotechnical design and construction issues, to post-operational monitoring programs, and many more.

MWWD has been, and will continue to be, a series of conferences on Marine Waste Water Discharges and Coastal Environment, supported by IWA, IAHR building and enhancing a community of professionals dedicated to this cause.

Since 2004 the MWWD activity, moreover, will be furthermore enhanced by the formation of a MWWD Joint Specialist Group, open to every interested expert.
