Water, Climate and Environment - Solutions and the Bottom Line: A CIWEM - CMS Conference

The aim of this conference  is to showcase the developing solutions organisations are using to address the current climate change and environmental agenda.

A considerable challenge for us is to get the programme to the right contacts not least because the climate and environment issues are genuinely cross cutting across all aspects of organisations …. For example:

Some organisations have climate change champions
For some the solutions are driven by the asset and land managers
In others by the communication issues
In others by management actions related to specific issues of water or energy management

The organizers have deliberately taken the perspective of organisational response because other of their events look at sector / issue specific topics such as flood and drought. 

The water sector in the broadest sense from government, agencies, consultants, NGOs, consumer groups and retail is very diverse and this is the range they are seeking to engage.
