ISPRS IC WG I/V 2nd International Workshop - The Future of Remote Sensing

Since the first workshop, VITO has been very active in realizing the concept put forth in 2003, and it executed a test flight in the spring of 2006. Other areas in Remote Sensing have been evolving rapidly as well – e.g. digital aerial cameras and associated processing software; the availability or HR satellite imagery; mobile mapping systems. From the user side, a new emphasis on Disaster Management has emerged, with new demanding requirements. Finally, Google Earth and comparable applications have brought remote sensing to the public.
This second international workshop “The Future of Remote Sensing” will address new technologies and applications of Remote Sensing. Furthermore, VITO will show progress in realizing the concept put forth during the previous workshop. A flyer can be downloaded here.
